In the spirit of kicking off a very exciting time for basketball fans, I wanted to share some moments at last year’s All-Star weekend in Houston. Here’s what I wore, who I met, and who “sang” to me 😉
I found this dress at Forever 21. Absolutly loved it because it wasn’t scandalous, but it was still sexy. For the jewelry, I had packed my bag full of all my costume jewelry but left it at home…booooo
Sooo my daling best friend took me to a place called Sam Moon. I had never heard of it before, but now LOVE it because it saved my life that weekend!! And I ended up with a couple pieces I frequently wear.
The host of the éne-bé-a party was non other than ex Spur Bruce Bowen!!! He was super nice, aaaand spoke Spanish extremely well!
In Spanish, Mr. Bowen introduced the party’s performer DADDY YANKEE!! YES, amigos! I was overwhelmed with excitement! Not only did I just finish meeting a role model, Bruce Bowen, but I was about to see the King of Reggaeton. AAAHHHHH…and i was RIGHT by the stage!
Needless to say, I sang EVERY single word to EVERY one of his songs LMAO.
And yes, he was surprised!!
During a “crowd pumping” moment, he thanked everyone at the party for being there and then even started flowing and mentioned my passion & energy. YES!!! Daddy Yankee threw a shout out to me the “girl in the black dress”. Awesome experience!!
From the King of Reggaeton to the King of Basketball. At a brunch celebration for Michael Jordan’s 50th bday, you know I HAD to wear my Jordan jersey. 😀 My dad bought me this jersey in high school and I will NEVER let it go!
The weekend was so much fun, and am super grateful I got to experience it! Here’s one more outfit pic that I wore to close out the weekend. It was no special All-Star weekend party, but I still had funnn!
Forget Valentines Day! HAPPY NBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND! 😀
